CAST BIOGRAPHIES

KATHY CROW--Kathy was last seen as Maria in the Fort Wayne Civic Production Man of LaMancha. She previously sang with a gospel singing group for 5 years, and directs the choir at her home church. During "real life", Kathy works for the Allen County Prosecutor enforcing child support.

ANDREW GROSS--Andrew has done lots of shows with lots of theaters for lots of years. Job-wise, he works as a special education teacher, a job that tends to drive people crazy. He does theatre hoping to stave off that craziness, but isn't sure that it's working. For fun and relaxation, Andrew "does music", eats M&M's, raises birds, feeds his fish, enjoys natures, and torments his cats--Grace and Ifit. And as always, Andrew would like to thank his family and friends for their continued support and encouragement.

KELLY KELLEN--Kelly is a student at IPFW, studying music education. She will graduate in the May of 1997 and hopes to get a job teaching K-8 choral music. This is Kelly's sixth show at Grey Lite Theatre. She was last seen as Ernie in It's a Wonderful Life. She wants to thank her husband, Jeff, for supporting her, as well as the cast of Closer Than Ever for being fun and so hardworking.

BRENDA PORTER--Brenda has appeared in multiple theatre productions in Fort Wayne as well as professional and community theatre in Indianapolis. An Anthony Award winner, Brenda's recent performances include Godspell at First Presbyterian and Broadway's 2's, 3's and More! at Grey Lite. She is thrilled to be performing with her son for the first time. Brenda loves waves, lighthouses, and French classical music. Her thanks to David Miller for his ever constant love and support.

BRIAN PORTER--Brian, a junior at South Side High School where he is a member of the swing choir, is returning to Grey Lite for his second show. This summer he appeared as Dickon in The Secret Garden. He also just wrapped up playing Nick Piazza in South Side's production of Fame. Brian would like to thank his mother for all her encouragement and support.

CHRIS RASOR--Chris is once again returning to the Grey Lite Theatre stage, where he was last seen in the Alternative Theatre Production. When Chris is not at rehearsal, you can find him selling music boxes at the San Francisco Music Box Company. In his free time, Chris is a choreographer for Northwood Middle School's swing choir and is an avid watcher of "Days of our Lives"--on which he hopes to play Eric Brady (Pray for him!!). As always, Chris would like to thank his family, friends, and this cast for all of their continuing support.

CHRISTY REISING--Christy is one of our familiar faces here at Grey Lite. She has also been seen on the stages of the Civic and First Pres. Theatre. She was last seen on the Grey Lite stage as Violet in It's a Wonderful Life. She gives all her love to her family and friends for their support. But remember...Don't sit on the toybox!!!

VIRLYNN REX --Virlynn has worked in all aspects of community theatre during the past 25 years. She has been active in the Hicksville, Ohio, Village Players since its inception and is presently on its board. She teaches 7th and 8th grade English in Hicksviile and in her spare time sings with the "Undertones" and travels. She shares her home with 2 cats, 13 birds, and 5 guppies. Her favorite roles include Miss Hannigan in Annie, Madame Arcati in Blythe Spirit. and Miss Tweed in Something's Afoot.
