Grey Lite Theatre presents
"On the Verge" By Eric Overmyer Directed by Louise Conley Jones Director's Notes For everyone who loves language--and that not only includes those of us involved with the play, but many of you in the audience, too--Eric Overmeyer's 1985 play is a delicious feast of poetry and sound, of words--which our actors will be the first to admit--one must wrap one's tongue around. And, after three weeks of rehearsal, I feel a lyric coming on..... On the verge or on the brink Hooray for drama that makes us think. And cheers to Fanny and Alex and Mar' Who prove that grist is not so square! ---Burma Shave (and "Hooper doo!")
