Grey Lite Theatre presents
"Play It Again, Sam"
By Woody Allen
Directed by Steve Pearson

A Note from the Director:

"Play It Again, Sam" has been, not only a wonderful experience overall, but also a terrific opportunity for my community theater directorial debut. I thank everyone at the theater as well as the cast for their professionalism and creativeness throughout this entire adventure. I only hope Woody Allen had such great people surrounding him as he wrote, directed and starred in this romantic comedy. As you view the play, I hope you feel, as I do, that we have not only done justice to, but also complemented this fine piece of theatre.

Steve Pearson,
Director

Cast Biographies

Barbara Abbott (NANCY)-Although Barbara has been in two plays in supporting roles, this third one is some fifteen years after the first. A gardener by trade, she says she just always liked to pretend she was someone else. Now that her son is nearly raised, she intends to make a more frequent appearance on stage if they will have her.

Tad Atkinson (BOGEY)-Tad returns to Grey Lite's stage after a brief break playing Froggy in First Presbyterian's production of The Foreigner. When not performing on stage, Tad is also Lord Gwydion Grandcoer, the master of the Theatre Guild for the local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronisms.

Kristen Fletcher (SHARON LAKE/GO-GO GIRL)-Kristen is originally from Michigan and a graduate of Central Michigan University. She came to Fort Wayne two and a half years ago and is presently teaching Math and Biology at Carroll High School. This is Kristen's theatrical debut. She has always wanted to take a stab at acting and this is her chance.

Rayna Marotti (GINA)-Rayna is a junior at Carroll High School where she is on the basketball and soccer teams. She is a member of the Drama Club and has appeared in both Dracula and Secret Garden.

Heather Minick (VANESSA)-Heather is a senior at Carroll High School where she has been involved with drama for four years. This year, she is the president of the Drama Club. Some of the productions in which she has performed includes Dracula, Secret Garden, Plaza Suite and The Diviners. She is also a member of the Carroll Pom Pon Squad.

Scott Nedberg (ALLAN FELIX)-Scott is returning to Grey Lite's stage for another "fun packed" season. Last season, he appeared as Dan in Four Plays, Stanley Gardener in Run for Your Wife, and Capt. Von Trapp in The Sound of Music. In addition to these Grey Lite productions, Scott appeared as Charlie Baker in First Presbyterian's The Foreigner. He is currently Director of Operations at Custom Tube Co. in Fort Wayne. His love for theatre is only surpassed by his love for his daughter, Erin, his son, Mike, his granddaughter Maddy and "Toad".

Jennifer Poiry Beatty (LINDA CHRISTIE)-Jennifer has appeared many times on Grey Lite's stage, including Rose in Secret Garden, Rose in God's Favorite, Mary in It's a Wonderful Life and Maria in The Sound of Music. She is a substitute teacher with Fort Wayne Community Schools and an operations clerk at Norwest Bank. Her love is music, theatre and life, which explains her talents on stage and off. She will be in Here's Love here at Grey Lite in December.

Michael Scheirer (DICK CHRISTIE)-Michael, a Fort Wayne transplant, gets back into theatre after a three-year hiatus. Past performances include acting in Guys and Dolls and Li'l Abner. He has also done technical work at Walt Disney World in Orlando. He thanks his princess and those who lured him back on the stage.

Natalie Zehr (SHARON / BARBARA)-Natalie is a freshman at IPFW in Secondary Education. She is a graduate of Carroll High School. Although this is her stage debut, she worked on lighting for Secret Garden at Carroll High School. Natalie is planning to get married in August to Michael Scheirer. She thanks her fiance for getting her involved in this show and Steve Pearson for being a great high school drama coach.
