Acting with Action
Students will learn to tell a story through improvisation, character development, and exploring the script. They will work from scripts generated in the playwrighting class and learn to move and speak clearly and effectively onstage. Grades 5-11.

Playwrighting
Students explore self-expression through writing for the stage, with opportunities to hear and see their works performed. Focus will be on the writing process, story structure, and finding their writer's voice. Grades 5-12.

Creative Movement and Drama
Encouraging cooperation and group skills, this class provides a joyful opportunity to develop stories and poems which will be incorporated into improvisational activities, including drama games. A wide range of music will be used to stimulate imagination and creativity. Grades K-3.

Creative Characterization
Students will explore elements of characterization through the use of movement, taking a character one step further by portraying and creating with the entire body. Improvisation, pantomime, and role playing will be used to create conflicting characters. Grades 4-6.
